Decided to go with this shot as my first page, cause I really like it.
Popped the colors somewhat adjusting the vibrance and some dodging on the boat to make it pop some more.
Blue and yellow, my own Swedish flag.
This was the last night on the road. We had just crossed the Swedish border and were camping just outside a very known ski resort i Sweden called Åre.
I did go down to the Åre lake earlier that evening and it was a beautiful night, no wind and the boat was lying there just waiting for me to take a pic with the mountains piling up in the distance. Was only one problem, my camera was back at the motor home transferring the last days pics to the computer.
So I decided to get back after dinner, and when I did, this was what I saw, the wind had started to pic up pace, and the clouds were coming in from everywhere, and above the tree line the mountain from earlier were hidden due to the clouds and mist and made it nearly invisible, you can still almost see it above the boat and tree line..
Decided to set my alarm clock at 4 am again to try and capture the mountain and hopefully still water, but unfortunately the rain was coming down quite heavily so I decided to turn around and get back to sleep again =]
Raw file in Lightroom, slightly gave it a push to my favourite colour which it were already but a bit more blue tone. Then resized and sharpened in photoshop.
